Open your Downloads

Next to Vortex, click Download and choose All files & documentation. A ZIP file is saved to your computer, usually in your Downloads folder.
Unzip it
Double-click the ZIP file (Mac) or right-click it and choose Extract All (Windows). Move the extracted folder somewhere easy to find, such as your Desktop or a
Projectsfolder.
What is inside
Each template comes in its own folder, for example spa. Inside you will find the website source code and a few helpful text files:
README.md: a short technical summary of the templateCHANGELOG.md: what changed in each versionIMAGE-CREDITS.md: information about the photos used in the live demo
Choose the template you want to use and work on that folder. You can open it right away by following the Installation guide.
About the demo photos
The photos you see in the live demo are for preview only and are not included for reuse. Plan to use your own photos or ones you have a license for. The Images page shows how to swap them in.
Your license, in short
Your purchase includes an Envato license. In simple terms:
- A Regular License lets you build one website (one “end product”) for yourself or for one client, where visitors are not charged to use it.
- An Extended License is needed if end users pay to access the product you build with it.
Building several websites? Buy one license per website. For the full terms, read the Envato license page.
