Updates & support
Get new versions, fix common problems and contact support.
Getting updates
When a new version is released, ThemeForest shows it in your Downloads, and you can choose to receive an email. Every change is listed in CHANGELOG.md inside the template folder.
How to update safely
- Download the new version and unzip it in a separate folder. Do not overwrite your project.
- Read
CHANGELOG.mdto see what changed. - For small fixes, copy only the changed files into your project. For bigger updates, copy your own
src/config,src/dataandpublicfolders into the new version instead. - Run
npm installandnpm run devand check everything looks right.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Most changes are made in simple settings and content files, and this guide explains each one. For bigger design changes, basic knowledge of React or Next.js helps, or you can hire a developer.
Can I use this with WordPress?
No. Vortex templates are Next.js websites. They do not need WordPress, a database or plugins, which makes them fast and secure.
Is hosting included?
No. You choose your own hosting. Vercel and Netlify are the easiest, and both have free plans to get started. See Publish your website.
Can I translate the website into another language?
Yes. Replace the text with your language and set language and locale in src/config/site.ts.
Can I use one purchase for several websites?
A Regular License covers one end product. Buy one license per website. See the Envato license terms for details.
Which browsers are supported?
The latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile.
Common problems
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| My change does not show up | Make sure you saved the file. Then refresh the browser. If it still does not show, restart with Ctrl + C and npm run dev. |
| Red error screen after editing | Read the file name and line in the message. Usually a quote, comma or bracket is missing. Undo with Ctrl + Z and try again. |
| New image does not appear | Check the file is in public/images and the src starts with /images/ and matches the file name exactly, including uppercase letters. |
| Form says it was sent, but no email arrives | The form is still in demo mode. Connect it as explained in Forms, then restart. |
| Live site works, but forms or the site address are wrong | Add the environment variables in your hosting dashboard and redeploy. |
| Old favicon still shows | Browsers cache icons. Do a hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R) or use a private window. |
