Menus
Change the header menu, dropdowns, the main button and footer links.
All menus live in src/config/navigation.ts: the header menu, its dropdowns, the main button, the footer link columns and the small legal links.
Header menu
primaryNav is the list of links in the header. Each link has a label (the text) and an href (where it goes):
export const primaryNav: PrimaryNavItem[] = [ { label: "Facials", href: "/facials" }, { label: "Massage", href: "/massage" }, { label: "Journal", href: "/journal" },];- Rename a link: change the label.
- Reorder links: move whole lines up or down.
- Remove a link: delete its line.
- Add a link: copy a line, paste it and change the label and href.
Dropdown menus
Add children to any link to give it a dropdown. The parent link still works on its own, and each child can have a short description shown under it:
{ label: "The Maison", href: "/the-maison", children: [ { label: "Our Story", href: "/the-maison", description: "The house, our values and a short tour" }, { label: "Our Team", href: "/our-team", description: "Meet the therapists" }, ],},To turn a dropdown back into a simple link, delete the children part, including its square brackets.
Main header button
export const primaryCta: NavItem = { label: "Book an Appointment", href: "/book-appointment",};Change the label and where it goes, for example to a phone number with href: "tel:+442012345678".
Footer links
footerNav is a list of columns. Each column has a title and its own list of links. Add, remove or rename columns and links the same way as the header menu.
export const footerNav: NavGroup[] = [ { title: "Information", links: [ { label: "Contact", href: "/contact" }, { label: "Privacy Policy", href: "/privacy-policy" }, ], },];legalNav holds the small links at the very bottom of the footer.
